Correcting bad habits of cats

 Understand how your cat likes to scratch: some cats like to scratch horizontally, others like to scratch vertically. Choose a floor scraper or vertical board or scraper. Use sisal rope, cardboard or rough carpet, as cats like these rough surfaces. Make sure the scratching board is at the right height: cats want to stretch their whole body when scratching.
